The Defrost Series is an informal series of races run on Saturdays early in the season by the dinghy fleet for the dinghy fleet and the flying fifteens. No sign up, just turn up at the club and/or join the converstion on the LESC Sailing WhatsApp group. First start:1300.

The 2026 LESC First Fling (Open) Regatta will take place on Saturday, May 02, 2026, for all entrants with a 1200 start time and on Sunday, May 03, 2026, with an 1100 start time. The First and Final Fling Regattas are larger, open racing events with earlier starts and keelboat and dinghy fleets racing on
Weekend Series events are member only racing events with separate starts for keelboats and dinghies run by volunteer race officers (Officer of the Day/OOD, rescue boat driver, and rescue boat assist) who aim to complete two races a day for a total of six per series with one discard for every four races sailed. Sunday Morning Training is informal training with a member of the LESC Training Team that is open to all members, adult and junior, but primarily geared toward junior sailing skill work and learn-to-race, in particular.
